Peter goes to a pride parade and is astonished to see himself standing on one of the floats. In a Cinderella story, Prince Charming (played by Peter Griffin) said that he would stop at nothing to find the girl or guy who owned the glass slipper as they were his true love and then added that he was bi. Meanwhile, we see that other man go to a different table with his wife who looks identical to Peter and finds out that she never went in either. After they're done, Peter comes back out only to find that Lois never went into the bathroom. Mistaking the man for Lois, Peter has sex with this guy and surprisingly the guy willfully goes with it. Peter goes into the men's room first and while waiting for Lois, a man who looks similar to Lois walks in. Peter and Lois go to a fancy restaurant and plan to have sex in the bathroom. Unprovoked, Adrien quotes "I had a gay experience at camp" and Peter nervously shuts the parrot's beak and comes up with the excuse that his car radio was on, during his ride there and the parrot must have been repeating that. Peter introduces his parrot, Adrien Beaky to The Beer Bar Buddies and shows it all the funny things he taught him to say. Peter is still interested in women, as he's married to Lois, has had several relationships with other women before her and continues to cheat on Lois with other girls in the show but there's no denying that Peter is also very attracted to men, making him a mostly-hetero swinging bisexual man. Sadly, Lois dumping him would not be a poor decision, as Peter has been shown many times to continue having relations with other men, despite being married to Lois, making him an adulterer. Over the years, Peter has had several romantic and sexual relationships with other men although he doesn't like to admit it, due to either the fear of being teased by his friends for his sexuality or possibly out of fear of his wife seeing him as "unfaithful" and dumping him.

However, as the series went on, the jokes became more prominent and harder to ignore to the point where it hinted that this might be an actual part of his character and that Peter could be bisexual.
At the start of the series, these jokes were few and far between and could easily be brushed off as one-off gags.
